Deepwater is located south of Clinton, Missouri on Highway 13. It is officially called Cooper Creek, here is the Corp of Engineers site. It is 400 acres of wooded trails, hill climbs, and open space. There is a unofficial drag strip and a mud pit in the parking lot. There is no fee to ride here. This area is for ATV's and dirt bikes. I heard the north park of the area is closed. The trails are kind of a spiderweb. There are trails going every where. Which can be dangerous because you have to watch out for other riders coming out of nowhere. These trails are useful though to go around the countless mudpits left by the utility ATV's, or to bypass techinical areas if you have a inexperienced rider with you. Here are some pictures. |
